Every magazine promises that it is different. But what makes a magazine interesting? This is a question that even editors can't answer.
On a fateful day, I was going to bring curd for my khichidi. I decided to walk further to browse different newspapers. Soon, I was ensnared by a glossy cover. I thought it would be another fashion magazine carrying raunchy photos of models with some ribald matter. But I wasn't right. It was 'The Sunday Indian'.I thought that a new era of genuine fearless journalism has begun. The are articles were thought provoking, precise and carries a satire. In the entertainment section of the magazine there is an element of levity.
It is a very good source for improving English. The good thing is that it doesn't work on the principles of expediency. Now a days a new term has been coined: Saffron terror. God knows what it is. Because, I know that only those who are hell bent on destroying the social fabric of this nation can spread these rumours.I am sure that no newspaper or magazine which believes in the unity of this nation can do the same.'The Sunday Indian' is not squeamish about writing on Hindu issues. It is imperative that we choose the right source of news for broadening our outlook.
As far as my gumption is concerned, I feel the magazines such as 'The Week','Open' and also the one about which I am writing are doing the right job.
God bless the editorial teams of these magazines.....
There is news in every moment of our life. Whether we notice any moment or not, it says a lot. So,it would be quite intresting to look at the happenings around the world from my own point of view.Insha Allah, I would be the best blogger..

Politically harsh winter!
I thought that Indians would regard this new year as epoch-making. But nothing such happened. Actually , I was living in utopia and forgot that leaders who are nothing but maggot and national honchos will remain the same. There was a spurt in basic commodities.People were facing back-breaking prices.
I went to my Nani's house to take temporary refuge but to no avail. The news in national dailies followed me everywhere.I am a patriotic Indian, so I usually get dejected by what is happening in my nation. The impecunious are facing the brunt. Naxalites are showing no signs of retreat. Government is committing more atrocities on us than by the antisocial elements. I don't want to sound like a naysayer, but circumstances are forcing me to sound like one.
Well, as they say:Hope floats. But who are 'they' here. Must be the those writers who cocoon themselves from the realities of life, hoping that everything will return to some semblance of normalcy for their own good.
People's memory is famously short-lived. They themselves are responsible for their own plight. The biggest menace in this nation is the religion. I am sorry to think so but this is the naked reality. They can be easily polarised and still don't give two hoots to their social welfare. The result : their conditions remain abysmal and abominable. So what is the solution to eliminate this malaise?I feel that ethical education combined with a scientific education is the only answer. Lack of money should never be the stumbling block, because a nation where the leaders can embezzle, billions and trillions of rupees every year, such excuses will be regarded as threadbare.
We shall overcome every difficulty ...
